Button Box with push to talk lever

Post by Weena »

Hey Guys,

Here is my newest project. A button Box with an Push to talk lever, you can easily pull while driving, without looking at it..

I made everything out of wood. It is easy to work with and I also like it.

First you need the components.

1. An Button Box board. (Sorry I only have links to Spanish Amazon. But Im sure you'll find this anywhere)

It comes with an USB cable and cables for the buttons.

2. Some actual buttons, belive it or not

You can choose whatever you like. Just be aware. Some Buttons are snapping in. One push on, then another push off.

Here is what I ordered.

And also this little ones for the lever....

The buttons in the front.

I also put the power LED from the board and soldert it on to cables. So I can put it in the front panel.

Very nice Weena! :banana-dance:

I have the very same button box in mind (ready to order - soon as I get my new shifter) only though I am going to go with a plastic box something like this.

So far it is working fine. :)

I have two buttons snapping in. One for the handbrake. I can push and it stays on. And one for the horn

The other buttons I have for looking around, mini map and other stuff.

When you buy a Plastic box. Don´t forget you have to mount it to your desk somehow
