Forza Horizon 3 - Funvideos

Post by Don »

Last night i tested a couple of rallycars (tuned to S1 900) on the Kingmaker-race. The Mini turned out to be a pretty good beast and i thought about trying a "keep the chain alive"-challenge with it.

So today morning i gave it a go. I needed 3 attempts until i finally made it. The run surely not the prettiest one and definitely not fast, but that wasn't the goal anyway.

I drove with keyboard since it's very hard to drive drifty like this with wheel. With keyboard you can throw the around like it's a matchbox. ^^ I maybe will give it a try with wheel again, but the chances of achieving an unbroken chain from start to finish with it, are probably pretty low.

I will try some more cars and maybe some more tracks in the next time.

Try using ken blocks focus rx, that car is extreme good at going sideways
For me it's the go to car in blizzard mountain when i want to drift, for racing
i tend to favor the hogwarth

Today morning i did another two runs without breaking the chain from start to finish. One with the RX and one with the Willys Jeep.

But i'm not sure i will make a video of it. It's the same track and the runs are not beautyful to watch for my taste. (Just hanging in the revlimiter in 1st or 2nd gear all the time and waving the ducktale.)

I have to rethink how i can do a little "ktca"-series without making it boring to watch. I thought of taking the replay as extrafootage, but i always forget about saving it.

With the RX i'm in third "twisty parts" or fourth for the longer "straigther" parts.
It's just tricky to keep the speed down well enough to not go drifting
of to much or crash
It's pretty hard to keep the chain going with the FH physics so it isn't
really boring or ugly looking to me knowing full well it isnt as easy as it might look :happy-bouncygreen:

He creates these cars with the leaked dev-edition of FH3. I also have it, but never installed it, because it means a little bit of work to make it work.
